Chinatown Today is a Chinatown based non-profit that works to share stories from Chinatown’s past, present and future. We are energized and influenced by the diverse Chinatown community that we see and interact with daily. We are also emboldened by the fact that many of the stories we yearn to learn about are carried by the elders and knowledge holders in spaces that are often difficult to access.
These knowledge holders often view their stories as undesirable and undervalued, but we see how valuable these stories are. We have made it our mission to create spaces where they feel comfortable sharing ther stories to uplift these experiences and share these pieces of knowledge with the larger community.
